KAMU COLLECTION IS A TRIAL MODEL FOR NATIONWIDE COLLECTION OF REMOVAL TEXTILES
Piece Of Jeans is involved in a separate collection experiment for removal textiles piloted by waste management in southwestern Finland, which is a trial model for a wider separate collection of textiles. Removal textiles are the municipality's responsibility for waste disposal, and with the amendment, collection boxes for this waste should be arranged throughout Finland by 2023.
WITH KAMU COLLECTION, the aim of the COLLECTION is to expand after a six-month pilot period
(1 June to 31 December 2021) to include kamu (=shop and fashion) in BOXES COVERED WITH PIECE OF JEANS DENIM HATS. During the piloting period, feedback is collected on the collection quantities and locations suitable for collection. KaMu collection dishes are intended to be brought close to the consumer, where they do business in their everyday lives, indoors of commerce and fashion.
The launch event of the KaMu collection was held on 21 May 2021 in Turku, a visitor centre in Joe. Piece Of Jeans is one of the collection partners of the KaMu collection, and Piece Of Jeans's
