naturally.. the competition brought a lot of media attention. TEK and The Economists were the organizers, so they found the most stories in their channels. I got interviewed, which was completely new to me. After all, it went well, being interviewed and pitching the idea of a competition on stage. "It's pretty wild that I could do it. But it really paid off!"
There was much more to the competition than a one-off win and winning money. First and foremost, contacts! Business contacts, and the fact that outsiders confirmed the functionality of my business idea. It placed a huge amount of third-party credit on me. Now we can go out and conquer the world.
"We just need to move on to more sustainable product methods and materials. Nature can't take this amount of waste anymore, we have to do something about it. And that time is now!"
